About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RAN Innovation Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our Global Access area within the Chief Technology Office (GCTIO) of Telefónica, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and transformation in the RAN space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze new technical enablers in 6G and their potential impact on RAN networks
  • Participate in European and national research projects, such as those of the SNS and UNICO I+D programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and evolve radio access networks
Requirements
  • Telecommunications Engineer with RAN expertise and over 3 years of experience in radio access network design and evolution
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of 5G and 5G Advanced, as well as network architectures and protocols
  • Programming experience in Python
