About the Position
The Hotel Candela Marbella is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to join their management team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental strategies to drive business growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Managing Profitability
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to achieve business objectives.
Managing Revenue Goals
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to achieve revenue goals.
Leading Operations and Department Teams
- Develop and implement systems to enable employees to understand guest satisfaction results.
- Communicate a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.
- Champion the brand's service vision for product and service delivery.
Managing the Guest Experience
- Review guest feedback with the leadership team and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.
- Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints.
- Stays visible and interfaces with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.
Managing and Conducting Human Resources Activities
- Facilitate the development of creative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensures implementation to continually improve guest satisfaction results.
- Ensures employees are treated fairly and equitably.
- Ensures that regular, ongoing communication is happening in Operations.
