About the Role

To enable Energy Systems to achieve its strategic ambitions and become future-fit, we need leaders who drive business operations to meet customers' expectations while continuously improving the way we work. The new organization is based on two main dimensions: customer focus around our Key Accounts and Markets, and strong Regional Service Areas. Region Southern Europe, MEA, and LATAM (SEMELA) is seeking the Market Manager for Portugal. The Market Segment Lead - Electricity Market reports to the Market Area Manager Iberia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales by actively managing sales pipeline growth and increasing order intake for Power Price Forecasting and Power Grids, with strong influence on project pricing, resourcing, and bid quality review across Business Areas.
  • Optimize the customer experience measured in the CSRI score.
  • Monitor and manage the sales funnel from sales-qualified leads to won opportunities.
  • Seek deep customer insights, including prospecting for new customers, market insights, and services of competitors, and maintain an overview of major market trends, including analysis of political developments.
  • Develop a market area/customer segment strategy for Spain (and Portugal in future) or customer segment and focus on business development in the market area, including cross and up-selling activities across Business Areas, Business Units, and services.
