We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Mygwork. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our commercial business initiatives and working closely with our business development team to carry out their activities.
Key Responsibilities- Providing legal advice and support to our commercial business initiatives
- Negotiating and advising on commercial contracts, including letters of engagement, confidentiality agreements, and rating feed agreements
- Reviewing and advising on non-reliance and hold harmless letters from accounting firms and others providing reports in the credit analytical function
- Working closely with our Compliance team, Regulatory team, Marketing and Communications team, and People and Culture team to ensure that we are properly managing legal compliance and regulatory responsibilities
- Supporting the commercial legal needs of our Credit Analytics team, including negotiating agreements with potential clients of our platforms and data feeds
- Law degree and admission to practice as a solicitor in Germany, Spain, or England
- At least 5 years of corporate, transactional, or financial services experience, with credit rating, capital markets, or regulatory/compliance experience being an advantage
- Strong English language skills, with other languages being an advantage
- Strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to influence
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills, with first-class interpersonal and communication skills
