Job SummaryThis position's primary role is to provide legal support to the business in EMEA. Reporting to the Legal Director, EMEA, the Senior Legal Counsel will provide responsive legal advice and support for transactional work. This position will be part of a global legal team and have the chance to work across geographies, in a very dynamic and collaborative work environment, with great potential for personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Autonomously complete and lead routine legal work, including but not limited to contract review, commercial and corporate law consults, as well as the negotiation and assistance in matters related to EMEA strategies, transactions, and operations.
- Independently advise the business on the legal and other risks arising out of policy decisions and current organization practices.
- Under the supervision of the Legal Director, EMEA, lead and support high complexity legal work.
- Support the execution of EMEA strategies, with a keen understanding of the business' priorities.
- Be responsible for the corporate housekeeping of all legal entities handled in EMEA.
- Support and coordinate the execution of any corporate restructuring in EMEA.
- Review corporate documents and liaise with outside counsel on corporate matters.
