Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Join AXA XL, a leading provider of specialty risk solutions, as a Senior Legal Counsel in our Paris office. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert advice on complex legal matters, support our underwriting departments, and collaborate with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal guidance on insurance contracts, regulatory matters, and compliance issues.
  • Work closely with underwriting teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency in legal approaches and compliance with global regulations.
  • Review and validate technical contractual documents, including confidentiality agreements and commercial contracts.
  • Support the Senior Legal Counsel for France in dealing with complex projects and regulatory matters.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in private law, preferably with a focus on insurance law.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, either in-house or in private practice.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance law, including global programs expertise.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, and French as a mother tongue.
