Job Title: Legal Counsel

Join Schneider Electric Norge As as a Legal Counsel and contribute to the company's success in the Construction, Oil & Energy, and Renewables & Environment sectors.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified lawyer to join our Global Legal Department. As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice to the business on a day-to-day basis, with a focus on commercial contract review, competition law, and general commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver all legal services for the zone, including domestic and international bids, with a focus on commercial contract review and collaboration with the Legal Team.
  • Provide quality and timely legal advice to the business on areas such as leased & property matters, competition law, general commercial transactions, M&A, and product and quality issues.
  • Operate as a valued and integral member of the GLD and as a key business partner to provide high-quality legal services and strategic legal support and advice.
  • Negotiate contracts and deals on behalf of the company.
  • Claims & Litigation oversight & reporting.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally in an in-house environment.
  • Native in Spanish and fluent in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills.
