Job Title: Legal Counsel

Werfenlife Sa. is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A and venture capital deals, with a proven track record of providing sound legal support to businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support to Werfen's business units, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to venture capital and M&A deals.
  • Collaborate with the We Venture Capital team to negotiate and execute deals, including due diligence processes and post-closing follow-up.
  • Coordinate with external lawyers and manage their budgets.
  • Network and build relationships with key stakeholders, including the We Venture Capital team and other business units.
Requirements:
  • Law degree (Bachelor or Master) with a focus on business law, M&A, and/or venture capital.
  • At least 7 years of experience in M&A and venture capital deals, preferably at a large law firm or big four.
  • Commercial law experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical, healthcare, and life sciences industries are a plus.
  • English proficiency is required, with French or additional languages being a plus.
