Job Overview

As the Lead Product Analytics Specialist at Docplanner, you will spearhead a team of product analysts dedicated to enhancing our product offerings. Collaborating with various departments such as product management, engineering, and design, you will identify areas for synergy and product enhancement. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring data reliability and accessibility to inform strategic decisions and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers to prioritize initiatives aligned with critical metrics and performance indicators.
  • Establish and uphold consistent definitions of KPIs across teams.
  • Collaborate with Research, Business Intelligence, and Data Engineering teams to foster a knowledge-driven culture.
  • Develop and uphold best practices for data analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Explore AI/ML solutions with the potential for production implementation.
  • Mentor and train team members on data analysis, reporting, and visualization best practices.
  • Lead a team of product analysts in evaluating product data and assessing product performance.
  • Ensure the professional growth and satisfaction of team members.
  • Support analysts by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accountability.
  • Promote a positive team culture by valuing each individual’s contributions.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in executing complex SQL queries and experienced with database management systems and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming.
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Mode.
  • Experience addressing common Product Analytics challenges, including user tracking and A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with the operational dynamics of complex Product organizations in the SaaS sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and conveying ideas effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • A passionate analyst who thrives on generating insights and solving complex problems.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering actionable insights from data.
  • Committed to data-informed decision-making and its impact on business outcomes.
  • Understanding of product development stages and the collaboration required among various teams.
