Job Overview

As the Lead Product Analytics Specialist, you will spearhead a team of product analysts dedicated to enhancing the Customer's product sectors. Your role will involve close collaboration with various cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, developers, research, and design, to uncover opportunities for synergy and product enhancement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data, which is vital for informed decision-making and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside product leads and managers to pinpoint and prioritize initiatives linked to essential metrics and performance indicators.
  • Establish KPIs and uphold consistent definitions of metrics across diverse teams.
  • Collaborate with Research, Business Intelligence, and Data Engineering teams to foster a knowledge-driven culture.
  • Develop and uphold best practices for data analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
  • Explore AI/ML solutions that can be integrated into production.
  • Mentor and train team members on data analysis, reporting, and visualization best practices.
  • Lead and manage a team of product analysts in evaluating product data and assessing product performance.
  • Ensure the growth and satisfaction of team members.
  • Support analysts by setting expectations, providing regular feedback, and maintaining accountability.
  • Promote a positive culture and values within the analytics team by valuing each individual.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in executing complex SQL queries and experienced with database management systems and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming.
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Mode.
  • Experience addressing typical Product Analytics challenges, including user tracking, A/B testing, and experimentation.
  • Familiarity with the operational dynamics of complex Product organizations in the SaaS sector, from research to experimentation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and conveying ideas effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • A passionate analyst who thrives on creating knowledge and solving complex problems, with a strong desire for continuous learning.
  • Results-driven, ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are consistently met while extracting meaningful insights from available data.
  • Enthusiastic about data-driven decision-making and committed to maximizing impact through data insights.
  • Understanding of product development processes and the collaboration required among various teams.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Machine Learning models and advanced statistical methods applied to Customer Insights.
  • Experience in mentoring and training team members.
  • Proven experience as a people leader, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.
