Position: Sales Applications Engineer

Location: Barcelona

Our motion control products are essential for technology-driven original equipment manufacturers worldwide. We partner with our clients to develop innovative solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare and manufacturing.

We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Applications Engineer to provide expert guidance to our clients and support our sales, marketing, and product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify key clients, assess their needs, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with product developers to understand key features and suggest enhancements for customer applications.
  • Engage cross-functionally to formulate and implement sales strategies and introduce products to key clients in Robotics & Automation.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to ensure accurate product specifications and selections.
  • Ensure that applications meet customer requirements while proactively addressing technical challenges throughout the sales process.
  • Assist in the prototyping, costing, testing, and validation of new applications in Robotics & Automation.
  • Visit key clients alongside territory managers to offer application-level technical assistance.
  • Participate in conferences, author articles, and develop technical materials to promote our technologies within Robotics & Automation.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with prior experience in technical sales or engineering.
  • Background in design engineering, applications engineering, high-tech sales support, or field service.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and mentor others in effective communication.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused, with a self-motivated approach to teamwork.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • High proficiency in English is essential.

Travel Requirements

  • Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel within EMEA as needed, with potential travel up to 10%.
