Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Liaison: Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical teams, providing technical solutions to internal customers in a timely manner.
  2. System Administration: Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software.
  3. Hardware Repair and Maintenance: Perform system board level repair and fault diagnosis to SLAs, and plan and commission new rack positions.
  4. Structured Cabling: Install and maintain structured cabling systems, including fiber and copper cabling.
  5. Training and Compliance: Participate in training and adherence to governmental and company-set health and safety processes.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Experience: Recent graduates are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate interest and knowledge in the position and a willingness to learn on the job; gap year students also considered.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment, data center M&E equipment, and structured cabling installation.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (oral and written), ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers and staff, and strong adherence to process and being a process champion.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Language Skills: Good English language skills.
  2. Travel Requirements: Available to travel in EMEA.
