We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Data Center Engineering Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall availability and reliability of our mission-critical Data Center facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance and Operations: Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the Data Center/Facility, ensuring better than 99.999% uptime.
- System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, voice/data, chiller systems, and generators to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with contractor or data center engineers to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment, and provide assistance with deploying new equipment as needed.
- Site Walkthroughs and Inspections: Perform regular site walkthroughs to verify the proper operation of Facility Equipment and Monitoring Systems.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in Data Center Engineering
