About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at AWS Infrastructure Services. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

You will be part of a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with stakeholders in Spain and across EMEA, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow.
  • Provide first-line support for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues.
  • Perform regular server hardware repairs, including drives, motherboards, and other components.
  • Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS-related repairs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete routine work.
  • Engage with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPs.
  • Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
  • Participate in Data Center power & cooling events.
  • Identify and create documentation for use globally.
  • Contribute to the development of other team members.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience in networking.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
