About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our EU Central Operations team at Amazon. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving standardization across EU, improving the overall last mile cost and Delivery Service Providers (DSP) Experience for Amazon EU.

Key Responsibilities
  1. EU DSP Payments Programs: Develop and implement programs to drive standardization and process compliance for EU DSP Payments.
  2. Process Improvement: Identify and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making.
  3. Best Practices: Develop and share best practices across Amazon CO teams in other regions and Delivery Stations.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Partner and influence multiple stakeholders, including DSP teams, Operations, ACES, and Finance.
About the Team

Our team at Amazon handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Requirements
  1. Education: A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager.
  3. Communication Skills: Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
  4. Logical Thinking: Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience in using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Advanced Degree: Advanced or master's degree in business, operations, or related fields.
  2. Technical Skills: Experience using SQL.
  3. Project Management: Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  5. Operational Experience: Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
