Job Summary

As a Programme Manager for EU Central Operations, Payment Analytics, you will be responsible for driving the Work Summary and Invoicing programmes to improve the overall last mile cost and DSP Experience for Amazon EU.

You will own multiple programmes to develop processes, systems, and mechanisms to monitor and take actions in partnership with the work summary and invoicing execution teams and different partner teams such as DSP, ACES, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for EU Work Summary and Invoicing programmes to drive automation and invoicing accuracy impacting last-mile customer experience and last-mile cost.
  2. Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations. The ability to scale will be critical to all processes.
  3. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making.
  4. Ability to develop and share best practices across Amazon CO teams in other regions and Delivery Stations.
About the Team

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions.

Requirements
  1. A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent.
  2. Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager.
  3. Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
  4. Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Advanced or master's degree.
  2. Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  3. Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  4. Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
