About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our EU Central Operations team. As a key member of our Amazon Logistics team, you will be responsible for driving standardization across EU and improving the overall last mile cost and Delivery Service Providers (DSP) Experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making.
  • Partner and influence multiple stakeholders, such as DSP teams, Operations, ACES, and Finance.
  • Develop and share best practices across AMZL CO teams in other regions and Delivery Stations.
About the Team

Our team handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Requirements
  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager.
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
