About the Role

As a Program Manager, EU Central Operations, you will play a key role in driving standardization across EU for Amazon Logistics (AMZL). This will involve owning multiple initiatives to improve the overall last mile cost and Delivery Service Providers (DSP) Experience for AMZL EU.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Standardization and Process Compliance

Responsible for EU DSP Payments programs to drive standardization and process compliance, ensuring seamless execution of last mile delivery operations.

Process Development and Improvement

Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations. The ability to scale will be critical to all processes.

Process Improvement Initiatives

Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making, driving continuous improvement across AMZL CO teams.

Best Practices and Stakeholder Management

Ability to develop and share best practices across AMZL CO teams in other regions and Delivery Stations, as well as partner and influence multiple stakeholders, such as DSP teams, Operations, ACES, and Finance.

About the Team

Amazon Logistics handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses, utilizing creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Requirements

  1. Education and Experience

A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or other business/analytical disciplines, or equivalent. Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager, with a strong background in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. Advanced or master's degree in business, operations, or related fields is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Advanced Degree and Technical Skills

Advanced or master's degree in business, operations, or related fields, with experience using SQL and project-management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.

Continuous Improvement and Operational Experience

Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean, with experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
