Position Overview

We are excited to present a unique opportunity for a Junior Key Account Manager - Regional within our Retail Sales Division at Kraft Heinz. This role is situated in our Iberia Business Unit and is based in Madrid.

In this position, you will collaborate with a dynamic team, working closely with colleagues who are committed to achieving excellence. Reporting directly to the Regional Area Manager, your focus will be on managing the Indirect Channel of Retail, including Cash & Carry and Distributor accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate business growth and profitability while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Sales Team in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating relationships and enhancing sales for regional customer accounts within your designated area.
  • Establishing commercial connections with targeted new prospects and ensuring exceptional sales performance.
  • Crafting the Annual Operating Plan, which includes annual agreements, pricing strategies, new product introductions, and campaign initiatives, and executing it for assigned customer accounts.
  • Advancing the Retail channel through innovative Trade Marketing activities and identifying growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • A University Degree, ideally from a Business School.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant commercial experience in the retail sector, particularly with cash & carry and major indirect channel customers.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and the ability to achieve results independently.
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Eligibility to work in the EU.
