Your Work-Life Opportunity

As Senior Area Manager for Madrid-Southern Spain you will have the unique opportunity to build and scale our restaurant e-commerce through two axes: product quality and strong cultural values.

We're looking for someone who has a mix of operational excellence to get great work done, the negotiation and collaboration skills needed to bring out the best from our stakeholders, the strategic, innovative and creative thinking that's required to develop outside the box solutions, and the emotional intelligence and humility required to lead a fast-paced business and inspire a team of people across different cities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hands-on mentality working closely with managers directly in the kitchens to correctly identify and solve critical points.
  2. Have full P&L responsibility and own business objectives together with Store Managers.
  3. Lead and develop a team of 200+ individuals to ensure best quality at our kitchens, specifically the reticular team (RDOs; Maintenance Coord.; Area Trainer; Store Managers).
  4. Oversee directly multiple departments and areas of responsibility: People, Finance, Legal, Growth, Operations, Brand, Tech, etc.
  5. Hire top talent, help them perform, grow and develop as professionals.
  6. Analyze product, operations and financial data to take key decisions for the cluster.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with COO and CEOs.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: Glovo, Uber, JustEat, Kitchen rental spaces, regulators, unions and the government.
  9. Get into details, deepdive and problem solve. You will make things happen together with your team.
  10. Develop new business opportunities, anticipate issues and improve processes.
  11. Balance execution and strategy (zoom in-zoom out).
Requirements
  1. 3-8 years of experience in fast-paced environments (Glovo/Uber; startups; IB; consultancies; e-commerce) with a passion for being close to the product in our kitchens.
  2. Experience leading cross-functional teams and have hired/worked with teams (i.e., principally blue collar).
  3. Led negotiations, contracts, legal documents, and you're comfortable building relationships with C-level of other organizations.
  4. Led P&L with full ownership and multiple departments.
  5. You are capable of inspiring teams, including senior kitchen workers. You attract talent and are obsessed about high bar and commitment.
  6. You're an expert on managing stakeholders, working with peers and leveraging other teams aspiring to do what's best for the company.
  7. Data-driven mentality: takes decisions based on data and makes business judgment when necessary.
  8. You ensure the highest standards for you and your team with the deliverables and business objectives.
  9. You have an ambition and energy that makes some people think you're crazy while inspiring others.
  10. You are always a step ahead, proactive with potential problems/opportunities and always thinking how to be better.
  11. Languages: Spanish (C2); English (B2/C1).
