Job Summary

As a Regional Practice Area Senior Manager for the Energy Practice at Boston Consulting Group, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic agenda and driving business growth. You will work closely with the Practice Area leadership to develop and implement the annual plan, set priorities, and monitor progress. Your responsibilities will include business analysis and planning, lead organization, internal communication, and affiliation activities. You will also manage the commercial plan, monitor the state of the business, and provide inputs to the Practice's Marketing Partner and Marketing Manager to plan publications, newsletters, and internal and external events for the regional Energy business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the annual plan, set priorities, and monitor progress
  • Manage the commercial plan, monitor the state of the business
  • Provide inputs to the Practice's Marketing Partner and Marketing Manager to plan publications, newsletters, and internal and external events for the regional Energy business
  • Support regional PA's content on Perspectives and be the liaison to industry platforms and associations that the sector partners with
  • Establish ongoing, early visibility on commercial pipeline using our pipeline tracking interface, working with senior practice area stakeholders
  • Maintain reporting for the region on a weekly, monthly basis - commercial and other key metrics and assessments

Requirements

This role requires a strong understanding of the Energy Practice and the ability to work closely with the Practice Area leadership to drive business growth. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex business data and develop effective solutions. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a master's degree is preferred. You should also have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of success in business development and leadership roles.
