Job Title: Regional Energy Practice Area Senior Manager

As a Regional Energy Practice Area Senior Manager at Boston Consulting Group, you will play a key role in driving the strategic agenda and implementation of the Energy Practice Area in the region. You will work closely with the Regional & Global Practice Area Leaders in the Energy Practice and their leadership teams to set priorities and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the annual plan for the Energy Practice Area, setting priorities and driving progress
  • Monitor and assess the competitive landscape, tracking changes in commercial conversions and performance
  • Establish and maintain ongoing visibility on the commercial pipeline, working with senior practice area stakeholders
  • Own and drive business reporting needs for the region, including commercial and key metrics
  • Act as a go-to-person and expert navigator for case teams with commercial and content needs
  • Support regions' client prioritization and planning activities
  • Collaborate with the Global Practice Area Executive Director, Practice Area Coordinators, Sector/Topic Managers, HR, and Marketing within the PA
Requirements:
  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience, with previous consulting and/or professional services experience a plus
  • Master's degree preferred, with role-related certifications a plus
  • Ability to manage and drive area of accountabilities, contributing to higher-level agenda setting
  • Ability to lead complex, broader sub-functional teams or projects fully independently and provide direction to others
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and non-defined problems autonomously, with full business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills, credibility, and ability to influence senior members and beyond
  • Ability to respect sensitive client, BCG, and people-related information as personal and confidential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with advanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
