About the Role

As a key member of the Skydance legal team, you will provide critical support to the business, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our productions. Your expertise will be essential in reviewing, drafting, and administering various legal agreements, contracts, and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contract Management: Arrange for the execution of agreements, amendments, and other contractual documents. Manage the electronic storage and circulation of contracts, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  2. Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and administer all types of production-related contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and Independent Contractors agreements.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production teams, Human Resources, Finance, and Technology to address issues arising in production, providing expert guidance on contractual risks and obligations.
  4. Policy Implementation: Ensure that legal policies and contracts are consistently applied across productions, maintaining a high level of compliance and integrity.
  5. Correspondence and Reporting: Prepare legal correspondence, including termination letters, extensions, and amendments. Track and prepare reports on the status of agreements and other activities.
  6. Documentation and Procedures: Assist in the creation and drafting of documentation for existing and new policies and procedures, including drafting and updating procedures, processes, and policies.
  7. Legal Inquiries and Escalation: Respond to legal inquiries, raise and escalate legal issues as necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  8. Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required, collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Law required, preferably with a Master's degree for Admission to the Bar.
  2. Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
  3. Language Skills: Spanish and English, high level.
