Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Associate Counsel to join our legal team. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal support across all areas of our business, including contract administration, drafting, and review. You will work closely with our production teams, Human Resources, Finance, and Technology to ensure that our legal policies and contracts are applied consistently across productions.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration
    • Arrange for the execution of agreements, amendments, and other contracts.
    • Manage the electronic storage and circulation of contracts.
    • Assist with contracts and related inquiries.
  • Contract Drafting and Review
    • Draft, review, and administer all types of production-related contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and Independent Contractors agreements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with production teams, Human Resources, Finance, and Technology on issues arising in production, communicating contractual risks and obligations.
  • Policy and Procedure Development
    • Ensure legal policies and contracts are applied across productions on a consistent basis.
  • Correspondence and Reporting
    • Prepare legal correspondence, including termination letters, extensions, and amendments.
    • Track and prepare reports relating to the status of agreements and other activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law required, preferably with a Master's degree for Admission to the Bar.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
  • High level of proficiency in Spanish and English.
