The Opportunity

Roche Diagnostics Spain is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to drive business growth and strengthen our presence in Cantabria and Pais Vasco regions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in the scientific, technical, and economic areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the availability of Roche's innovative solutions and solidify our market-leading position.
  • Interact with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to identify business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Manage sales for the entire Roche Diagnostics portfolio, offering customers tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop account strategies and execute against business plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, insights, and guidance to team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive profitable sales growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor products, and positioning, analyzing business risks and opportunities to educate the team.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience in the healthcare market, with a proven track record of success.
  • Desirable: at least 3 years of experience in sales/business development in the IVD Diagnostics industry.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Customer orientation, strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High negotiation capacity with key stakeholders within hospitals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level buying influences.
  • Experience engaging with new teams and fostering environments of accountability.
  • Persistence and perseverance to achieve business outcomes.
  • Strong desire to learn new products and business areas.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to new environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Healthcare, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Availability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
