Job Summary
Roche is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager Diagnostics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for building and strengthening our presence in the Cantabria and Pais Vasco areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Manage sales for the entire Roche Diagnostics portfolio to offer our customers Roche solutions that best suit their needs.
- Account Management: Develop account strategy and execute against strategic and tactical business plans for the assigned accounts.
- Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and respond quickly to their needs in a compliant manner.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, insights, and guidance to team members to support the delivery of a stellar customer experience and profitable sales growth.
- Market Analysis: Constantly gather data on market trends, monitor products, solutions, and positioning of competitors, analyze business risks and opportunities, and educate the team on these subjects.
Requirements
- Previous Sales Experience: Previous sales experience in the healthcare market, demonstrating successful results.
- Industry Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in sales/business development in the IVD Diagnostics industry is desirable.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Customer-Focused: Customer-oriented with strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Negotiation Skills: High negotiation capacity at all levels of key stakeholders within a hospital.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated comfort building and maintaining relationships with senior-level buying influences.
- Adaptability: Experience engaging with new teams and fostering environments of accountability.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrate persistence and perseverance to achieve desirable business outcomes.
- Continuous Learning: Strong desire to learn new products and business areas.
- Communication Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills; creative and adaptable in new environments.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare or equivalent experience.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Travel Requirements: Availability to travel, both inside and outside the country.
