About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Amazon Logistics team as a Payments Programme Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical initiative that will drive the transformation of our last mile delivery network.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead EU Work Summary and Invoicing Programs: Develop and implement strategies to drive automation and invoicing accuracy, impacting last-mile customer experience and cost.
  2. Process Development and Improvement: Design and implement processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring creative solutions to overcome technical limitations.
  3. Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify and lead initiatives to improve processes through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making.
  4. Best Practices Sharing: Develop and share best practices across Amazon Logistics teams in other regions and Delivery Stations.
About the Team

Amazon Logistics is responsible for handling 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions.

Requirements
  1. Education: A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or other business/analytical disciplines.
  2. Experience: Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager, with a strong track record of communicating with stakeholders and leading teams.
  3. Skills: Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and share best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Advanced Degree: An advanced or master's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Project Management Certification: A project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  3. Continuous Improvement Methodologies: Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  4. Operational Experience: Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
