About the Role

We are looking for a talented and driven Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic team. This essential role will focus on advancing business development within our B2B segments, specifically targeting travel partners, major distribution networks, and hotel chains. As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping our strategic alliances and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Strategy Development: Formulate detailed account management strategies, identify key industry players, and create targeted account maps to enhance our strategic outreach.
  • Account Management Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison for significant distribution partners, combining commercial, marketing, and technical expertise to ensure effective collaboration with our product team and deliver high-quality customer support.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Founders to manage and optimize the strategic account pipeline, leading initiatives that align with our business objectives and drive growth.
  • Market Analysis: Leverage your analytical skills to analyze market trends and customer data, developing strategies that align with our business goals and respond to market changes.
  • Sales Process Ownership: Take full ownership of your portfolio, managing all aspects of the sales cycle. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in environments where they are responsible for the complete sales process and customer relationship success.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and report on key performance indicators, ensuring that targets and KPIs are achieved or surpassed, driving continuous improvement in our account management practices.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic account management and business development, preferably within the travel or travel tech sectors.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex data to inform strategic decisions, with proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, with a proven track record of adhering to sales excellence principles.
  • Exceptional skills in developing account management plans and mapping industry players to identify and seize new opportunities.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • A digital native with a keen understanding of web and digital technologies.
  • Creative thinker with a friendly and positive demeanor.
