Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Architect and Project Manager to join our team at Allianz. As a key member of our Technology Architecture and Innovation department, you will play a critical role in implementing the IT strategy of the Allianz Group and its Operating Entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement group-wide IT architecture and standards, focusing on business applications and platforms of Allianz Group.
- Create IT architectures in collaboration with key stakeholders, including Operating Entities, Allianz Technology, and Allianz SE.
- Derive transformation strategies and execution plans for Operating Entities, Allianz Technology, and Allianz Group.
- Drive and track transformation projects, reporting progress to senior management.
- Act as an ambassador for transformation, state-of-the-art architecture, and Group IT Strategy.
- Collaborate with international working groups across Allianz entities and IT functions.
- Manage the Global Architecture Board, defining and approving global target architectures and IT standards.
Requirements:
- Academic degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, or similar.
- Strong professional background and experience in program and project management, IT line management, and leadership or management exposure in application engineering or operations in financial services.
- International experience and experience in multinational environments.
- Strong understanding of information technologies, technology markets and trends, IT management processes, IT governance, and IT controlling.
- Strong analytics and rapid learner.
- IT Architect certification(s) such as TOGAF, iSAQB, etc. is a plus.
- Project management certification(s) such as PRINCE2, PMI, etc. and/or Service Management certification(s) such as ITIL/ITSM are a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); conversational German is a plus.
- Advanced hands-on skills in using end-user productivity tools (Microsoft Office esp. Excel and PowerPoint).
