Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing office relocation and refurbishment projects across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage office relocation and renovation projects across Europe, ensuring successful project execution from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with real estate brokers to assess market possibilities, conduct thorough due diligence, and narrow down potential office move projects.
  • Lead the creation of business cases for relocations and refurbishments, including comprehensive financial analysis and presentation preparation.
  • Define project parameters, key milestones, deliverables, and timelines, managing the project from start to finish.
  • Work with senior management to support the organization's strategic goals in Europe.
  • Track project progress concerning cost, quality, and schedule, working alongside local project managers.
  • Oversee project-related contracts, including order tracking, billing, and costing.
  • Coordinate weekly updates and comprehensive reports on all ongoing projects, addressing design progress, budget targets, deadlines, and technical issues.
  • Handle bidding, negotiation, and preparation of contracts for general contractors, local project managers, and other vendors.
  • Directly negotiate construction contracts and change orders with contractors and vendors.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:
  • Full professional proficiency in English (one other European language is a plus).
  • Relevant degree, such as technical architect, architect, or other relevant degree.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
  • Proficiency in delivering office fit-out projects from CAT-A to CAT-B, including management of Design & Build/General Contractors, furniture, and key suppliers.
  • Experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in producing and presenting business cases.
