Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for maximizing hotel room revenue through effective pricing, rate parity distribution across all channels, and hotel inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize hotel room revenue through effective pricing and rate parity distribution across all channels
- Ensure efficient and smooth operation of the Revenue Reservations Department
- Support the Director of Revenue Management in analyzing competitive sets, price positioning, and future market needs
- Execute market-wide strategy and promotion implementation
- Monitor the daily online pricing to ensure it aligns with pricing and sales strategies
- Monitor market and competitor developments
- Ensure effective communication with other departments, including Sales, Concierge, and Front Desk
- Optimize and maintain Revenue Management Systems
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for upselling and revenue growth
- Interact with guests to provide a luxurious experience and exceed their expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field
- 2 years of experience in Revenue Reservations
- Experience with booking systems, revenue management systems, GDS, OTA extranets, and channel managers
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high-level attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
