About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and achievement-driven Account Executive to contribute to our double-digit growth, backed by the solid infrastructure of a world-class sales organization.

This exciting role involves building face-to-face relationships with senior executives within the world's most prominent IT vendor organizations to drive conference exhibitor sales.

A successful Account Executive enjoys travel, uncapped income potential, and generous performance-based rewards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quota Achievement: Retain and grow Total Sales Bookings (TSB) to ensure Net revenue growth for given portfolio of conferences and/or clients.
  2. Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  3. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation strategies.
  4. Pipeline Management: Maintain or exceed pipeline goal of 3x value of sales forecast.
  5. Inter-departmental Collaboration: Utilize internal sales enablement tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth.
  6. Client Relationship Development: Develop high-level client relationships and deliver integrated solutions based on contract offerings.
  7. Business Acumen and Industry Expertise: Demonstrate solid business acumen and industry expertise to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  8. Revenue Forecasting: Timely and accurate revenue forecasting, with ability to accurately forecast days out (+/- 5% accuracy).
  9. Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with internal sales enablement tools and deliver high-quality presentations in the Gartner format.
  10. Travel and Meetings: Travel required to 5+ conferences per year plus client meetings and competitive conferences.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 4+ years proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software, or hardware) industry.
  2. Proven Ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative, integrated solutions that provide marketing decision support to global organizations.
  3. Knowledge of C-level Issues: Knowledge of the issues faced by C-level heads of Sales and Marketing.
  4. Business Buying Centers: Good understanding of business buying centers.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Solid industry-specific and account knowledge.
