About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer to join our team at Arrow Electronics. As a Market Development Engineer, you will play a key role in determining, developing, scaling, and leading the implementation of successful solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialize in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment.
  • Conduct business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
  • Work with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  • Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers.
  • Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  • Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
  • Make joint calls with ARROW and supplier's Sales personnel where it is strategically and tactically appropriate on a regular basis.
  • Be involved with supplier web training for new products, new product releases, and supplier promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies with the appropriate products.
