We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a section in our busy kitchen and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our guests.
  • Nurturing and developing the talent of our kitchen team, creating an environment that fosters growth and collaboration.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, including ordering and inventory management, food safety, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Collaborating with our Executive Chef to develop new menu ideas and techniques that drive innovation and excellence in our kitchen.
  • Ensuring that every dish served meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as a Chef de Cuisine or in a similar senior kitchen role.
  • A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • A methodical and process-driven approach to tasks, with the ability to work flexibly and calmly under pressure.
  • Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to work positively and collaboratively to achieve the highest standards of delivery.
