About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Amazon Data Services Spain, S. L. As a key member of our Data Center Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, providing top-notch technical support to our customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Technical Support**: Provide first-line technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • **Hardware Maintenance**: Perform regular server hardware repairs, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • **Network and Server Administration**: Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS-related repairs, ensuring seamless connectivity and data integrity.
  • **Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network specialists, and security experts, to drive business objectives and resolve complex technical issues.
  • **Documentation and Process Improvement**: Identify and create documentation for use globally, and contribute to process improvements relevant to the data center environment.
Requirements
  • **Language Proficiency**: Spanish and English language proficiency is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in Spain and across EMEA.
  • **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex technical issues.
  • **Collaboration and Communication**: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
