About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center IT Technician to join our team at Amazon. As a Data Center IT Technician, you will play a critical role in the design, installation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage, and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts
  • Remediate or recover physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power and cooling events
  • Work closely with our engineering and logistics teams to maintain daily operations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
