Job Title: STB Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the development, homologation, and deployment of new STB devices in our Telefonica video ecosystem.

About the Role

As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for driving technology selection processes, overseeing the successful development and launch of Global STB programs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, product management, PMO, and homologation teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technology selection processes for STB devices
  • Oversee the development, homologation, and deployment of new STB devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program delivery
  • Manage multiple complex tasks in a changing environment
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and complex technical information
  • Coordinate industry partners for video product development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer device development for video projects
  • Experience in hardware architecture, software development, and security requirements
  • Proven experience in managing technical RFP/RFQ processes
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders
