Key Responsibilities- Drive Business Growth: Identify and own Dow Jones' engagement with international media firms to grow our overall business.
- Expand Reach and Influence: Drive audience reach, brand, and subscription volume, acquire new content to power our B2B products, and ensure the value propositions for DJ solutions resonate with partners.
- Negotiate Partnerships: Evaluate the suitability of partnerships with media organizations and negotiate agreements.
- Relationship Management: Exemplary relationship management skills to retain and increase current partnerships, keeping partners up to date on Dow Jones and new opportunities.
- Execute Territory Strategy: Execute a territory strategy with targets for revenue, international subscription growth, new sources to power our B2B products, and expansion and retention goals for existing partners.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with cross-functional teams throughout the company, keeping stakeholders updated from departments such as product, legal, finance, marketing, sales, events, and advertising.
- Work with Regional Director: Work closely with the regional Director for your territory on strategy and negotiation of partnerships.
- Develop Business Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of all parts of DJ business offerings and act as a brand ambassador for our professional products and flagship titles.
- Maintain Data and CRM: Maintain data, contacts, and notes in the CRM system.
- Media Landscape Expertise: Deep experience with and understanding of the media landscape, with a genuine interest in new technologies that serve these communities.
- Partnership Management: Experience managing partnerships across media, telcos, associations, and membership groups.
- Negotiation and Relationship Management: Proven experience in business negotiations and internal/external relationship management.
- Minimum Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a strategic, advisory, or relationship management position.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Cross-functional stakeholder management/influencing skills (internal and external).
- Negotiation Skills: Negotiation skills.
- Relationship Building: Able to build trusted relationships (EI/maturity/confidence/interpersonal savvy).
