Advertising Sales Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead our Advertising Sales team in Spain and Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving revenue goals, excellent leadership skills, and a strong ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop the Spain sales team, fostering a collaborative environment that mirrors Taboola's values and industry excellence.
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets, with a focus on client retention and scaling up the existing advertising book of business.
- Design and lead the delivery of annual strategic plans with Sales and collaborating closely with the Account Management team to ensure client loyalty and sustainable growth.
- Engage regularly with advertisers and agencies, representing the company and keeping them updated about Taboola's value and new capabilities.
- Elicit client feedback to act as an internal advocate for our clients.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Technical Support teams to create positive client experiences and drive ongoing development of client solutions to meet market demand.
- Oversee the onboarding, training, performance management, career development, coaching, and mentoring of the team.
- Develop and implement internal education and training programs to ensure team members have a thorough understanding of Taboola's policies and procedures.
- 10 years of professional experience in the digital advertising space, with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing and developing a team.
- Outstanding relationship management and client service skills, preferably with expertise in premium agencies.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and use data-driven insights to make informed business decisions.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to translate big data into commercial and simplified language.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate within a high-performing team.
