Commercial Asset Manager

About the Role
Aquila Capital is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Asset Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Asset Operations team, you will be responsible for the financial management and supervision of our Spanish renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Management: Define and update the operational budget, rolling cash forecasts, and supervise monthly closures for our wind and photovoltaic projects.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze the financial performance of our PV assets and communicate results to the Finance team on a daily basis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Strategy Asset Management Team (SAM) and Markets Management Group to provide key input for business model development and PPA implementation.
- Procedure Development: Further develop existing financial operational procedures and define reporting procedures with SAM to comply with their information requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Completed University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Asset Management, Asset Management, or Project Management.
- Skills: Financial knowledge of Photovoltaic, wind, or other renewable energy projects, MS Office expertise, and fluency in Spanish and English.
