Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host/Concierge to join our team at Almanac Hotels. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that all guest interactions are friendly, courteous, and respectful.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Manage the front desk area, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and responding to guest inquiries.
    • Process payments, handle guest complaints, and resolve issues in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Concierge Services
    • Assist guests with requests, such as making reservations, booking tours, and providing recommendations for local attractions.
    • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and policies.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with other hotel staff, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams, to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Diploma in Hotel Management and/or Tourism, Intermediate Level Training Cycle in Hotel Management.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotels of similar or higher category.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Service orientation and excellent organizational skills.
