Position Overview:

The International Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in the financial management of RingCentral Bulgaria, ensuring the accurate preparation and maintenance of financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards. This position requires adaptability in a dynamic environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital member of the international accounting team, contributing to the month-end and quarter-end closing processes by executing various accounting tasks, including journal entry preparation and posting.
  • Oversee all intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with Transfer Pricing agreements and maintaining the integrity of intercompany accounts.
  • Manage compliance requirements and vendor relationships to uphold financial integrity.
  • Review financial statements and conduct variance analysis for management reporting.
  • Coordinate with external service providers to meet local statutory reporting obligations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for foreign subsidiaries regarding financial matters, identifying and addressing operational and strategic challenges.
  • Collaborate with business units and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to understand budget implications and develop accounting strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and US GAAP standards.
  • Prepare schedules for annual and quarterly audits as required by external auditors.
  • Play a key role in implementing new accounting standards, enhancing processes, and establishing best practices for daily operations.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a CPA designation and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in multinational corporations and familiarity with compliance in international subsidiaries.
  • Knowledge of consolidation processes.
  • Strong ownership mentality and eagerness to acquire new skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to achieving organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
  • Expertise in the Bulgarian market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with FASB ASC 830.
  • Experience with major ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Background in a technology-focused company.
