About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Accounting Manager to join our team at RingCentral. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and preparation of financial consolidation of the Parent and its wholly-owned subsidiaries on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all payroll-related items for Spain entity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Deputize in the absence of Payroll Manager to oversee all duties, including payroll journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Create and update cash forecasting for monthly and quarterly payroll salary/tax payment requirements.
- Manage relationships with external Payroll vendors, HR, and benefit providers, ensuring compliance with Company accounting policies and US GAAP.
- Implement process improvements to increase accuracy and payroll department efficiency.
- Provide required documentation as requested by company internal and external auditors.
- Assist with global expansion process, coordination with third-party service providers to fulfill local statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies and the application of US GAAP.
- Preparation of schedules for annual/quarterly reviews as required for external auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 5 years of relevant management experience.
- Experience in working in global companies and knowledge of compliances in international subsidiaries is required.
- Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills.
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent written and oral communication skill.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong time management skills and able to meet competing deadlines.
- Results orientation with an ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization.
- Strong knowledge of Spain withholding tax, related tax filings, as well as tax and employment regulations.
- Understanding of the requirements of GDPR when handling employee and company data.
- Understanding of accounting principles, and the impact of payroll activity on financial statements.
