About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Financial Specialist to join our team at LanguageWire. As a key member of our Accounting Team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across all our entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain payroll computations, ensuring high standards of compliance and accuracy.
  • Collect and process payroll documents and accounting inputs in a timely manner.
  • Verify payroll data and documents for compliance with local regulations and contracts.
  • File documents in accordance with established procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Meet deadlines for payroll processing in countries where LanguageWire operates.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and inform superiors of any updates.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of input data and output results.
  • Liaise with external parties, including auditors, bankers, and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure reimbursement in accordance with country regulations.
  • Deliver reports and analysis to the organization.
  • Process, approve, and post incoming invoices in our current Accounts Payable software.
  • Report changes to third parties, such as pension providers, when necessary.
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Curiosity and willingness to expand knowledge of payroll in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work around different payroll deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize important projects and meet deadlines.
  • Flair for numbers, Excel, and at least 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of payroll in various European countries, such as Sweden, Germany, Belgium, and Spain.
  • Proficiency in languages like German and Spanish.
  • Experience with payroll systems, such as Visma Løn.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance.
