About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Accounting Manager to join our team at RingCentral. As a key member of our global accounting team, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and preparation of financial statements for our international subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries, as well as the review and analysis of financial statements.
  2. Intercompany Transactions: Oversee all intercompany transactions, including compliance with intercompany transfer pricing agreements and the completeness and accuracy of intercompany accounts.
  3. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as manage vendor relationships and identify potential risks.
  4. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare balance sheet and profit/loss variance analysis for management reporting, as well as coordinate with third-party service providers to fulfill local statutory reporting requirements.
  5. Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for foreign subsidiaries for all financial matters, identifying and resolving operational, financial, and strategic issues that impact the company.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business and financial planning and analysis teams to understand budget implications and implement planning strategies for accounting issues.
  7. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with company group accounting policies and the application of US GAAP, as well as prepare schedules for annual and quarterly reviews as required for external auditors.
  8. Process Improvement: Implement new accounting pronouncements, process improvements, control enhancements, and establish best practices for day-to-day activities.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA with a minimum of 5 years of relevant field and management experience.
  2. Global Experience: Experience working in global companies and knowledge of compliance in international subsidiaries is required.
  3. Technical Skills: Knowledge of consolidations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  5. Language Skills: B2 English language proficiency is required.
