Job Title: Legal Officer

At TMF Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Officer to join our team in Madrid. As a Legal Officer, you will play a critical role in providing legal support to our clients and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with corporate maintenance of client companies, including updating and preparing official documents.
  • Support the incorporation of companies and/or shelf companies.
  • Handle legal-related tasks, including establishing, maintaining, processing, and updating files, records, certificates, and other related documents.
  • Prepare and file forms to comply with and communicate with legal local authorities.
  • Update the minutes book, stakeholders register, and intake forms.
  • Keep compliance files fully updated and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Represent the company externally, including notary offices, banks, and local authorities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing cover letters, final letters, and courier arrangements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Law.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Consolidated experience in Corporate Law or Commercial Law.
  • Advanced or proficient English.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in Spanish.
  • Proficiency in MS Office package.
  • Strong team-playing skills.
  • Quick-learning and flexibility towards changing environments.
  • Excellent organization skills and adaptability to a high multitasking environment.
