Sourcing Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Category Manager to join our EAS Sourcing team at Ericsson.
The successful candidate will be based in Rosenheim, Germany, with the option for hybrid working. Relocation support is available.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Category Management: Support the strategic evolution of sourcing categories, aligning with the yearly schedule of category management work. Drive the implementation of ways of working, updates, business, and supplier information within the sourcing team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Head of Category Management at HW Sourcing and participate in a virtual network of approximately 6 category group leads located in Sweden and China.
- Category Evolution: Collaborate with the HW Sourcing Head of Category Management to challenge, manage, and evolve sourcing categories to meet the future needs of Ericsson Antenna Systems.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Enable collaboration with Product Management, R&D, and Supply to improve sourcing contributions to overall business results.
- Effective Category Management: Drive aligned subcategory strategies, including commercial conditions and strategies, to ensure effective category management.
- Category and PSL Strategy Implementation: Support the implementation of category and PSL strategies, focusing on collaboration and interface improvement potentials with R&D and Supply.
- Project Sourcing Support: Support the Project Sourcing team in understanding category and PSL strategies for efficient implementation in projects.
- Steering Group Participation: Chair and participate in steering groups or government forums within sourcing or with external suppliers and/or stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or an equivalent qualification.
- Business Acumen: Enjoy driving business evolution by working with teams and personal networks across multiple sites and fields.
- Analytical Skills: Be analytical, structural, and result-oriented, with the ability to find creative solutions when lacking information.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to work with IT and sourcing tools.
- Change Management: Demonstrate change management skills, with experience and knowledge of ways of working in/with R&D and Supply.
- Language Skills: Knowledge of German language is preferred but not required.
