About the Role
As a Category Manager for Chemicals at Bioiberica Sau, you will oversee the Chemicals category for our global operations. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global sourcing and contracting approach that aligns with business requirements and ensures competitive conditions with suppliers.
- Ensure business operations are conducted in accordance with the most competitive conditions, fully utilizing supplier agreements across all business units.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a 'One Bioiberica Global Category Strategy' including standards, guidelines, processes, and policies that meet business unit-specific requirements.
- Motivate and coach local teams to execute the global strategy, driving a culture of continuous improvement, solid negotiation capabilities, supplier relations management, and procurement team category knowledge development.
- Develop and implement a cost-effective global category strategy that ensures security of supply.
Requirements
This role requires a strong background in category management, procurement, or a related field, with experience in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different business units and cultures.
