Global Category Manager

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager to lead our Procurement team in Barcelona or Budapest. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing a global team to deliver high-performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a global team to drive end-to-end sourcing processes within the category scope.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business needs and deliver cost savings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to anticipate and formalize business requirements.
- Assess the technology vendor market to determine the best options and sources of supply.
- Lead RFPs, negotiation, supplier selection, and contract negotiation to meet business needs.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure alignment with category strategy.
- Drive adoption of a global program for recommended vendors and lead governance meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing Professional services in a global environment.
- Excellent sourcing and negotiation skills, including contractual and commercial negotiation, supplier management, and should-cost analysis.
