Job Description

Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Spain. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in promoting innovative breakthrough treatments for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and ensuring that all patients who could benefit from our products have access to them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute specific account level business plans at all CF Centers
  • Communicate disease and product knowledge to healthcare professional customers
  • Ensure that the full long-term value of our products is fully understood by all relevant stakeholders
  • Work with the Access team to overcome regional/local access barriers
  • Identify key local access stakeholders and build, develop, and maintain professional long-term relationships with them
Requirements:
  • University degree in Science or Business subjects
  • Solid sales experience in specialty, hospitals, pharmaceuticals
  • Proven track record working with product launches in a key account manager role
  • Experience in hospital access
  • Strong ability building and managing relationships with different key stakeholders
  • Strategic and analytic thinking, initiative, proactive attitude, and solid decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in Spanish and English
